GRIEVING IS NOT CONTAGIOUS with Michelle Cox

July 13, 2021

Today, I’m reading you a chapter from the book, Life Doesn’t have to be morbid - life, death and learning to grieve.

Death can actually be a source of inspiration. I know that sounds morbid, but stay with me. Think about those secret desires you hold those things you'd love to try but worry you'll be embarrassed about if you failed. I find that thinking about the worst possible scenario helps propel me into action. The worst thing in most cases is literally that your heart stops and you die. So if asking someone on a date, or starting a new business, or writing a book is the thing that terrifies you and excites you at the same time, take a leap of faith and give it a go.

Today I’m covering a topic that I am very passionate about and that is death, dying and grieving. Many people find it hard to talk about these topics but personally I don’t think we talk about them enough. This is a short sharp episode where I’m challenging you to think a little differently about a topic that many people are uncomfortable about.

If you’d like to read the book “Death doesn’t have to be morbid” in full or you think it would be good for someone you know, you can find it at all online book stores or purchase it here at the Wabisabiseries shop.
