James Gunn and his DC decision making partner, Peter Safran, recently announced the beginning of a DC Cinematic Universe, called the DCU for short. This slate of films takes over where Zac Snyder left off, sort of, because other people have ALSO taken over where Zac Snyder left off. And it will both continue the DCEU and conclude the DCEU and restart/reboot things and . . . well, we don't know exactly WHAT it's going to do, but we know some of the characters that it is going to use. And we know some of the actors it's not going to use.

Superman. Batman. Robin. Swamp Thing. The Creature Commandos. Amanda Waller. Green Lantern. The Authority. These things and more will be coming to a theater near you . . . and a streaming service near you!

And don't forget Aquaman, the Flash, and Shazam. Movies that were finished and are still on the slate. We'll see what comes of them in the future.
