Army Spouse Larrissa Pearce listened to a TED Talk that said, women often don't apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the criteria, which is not always true of their male counterparts. Men will take a chance on themselves even if they have only 3 of the 5 qualities listed in the job description.That truth bomb lit a fire under Larrissa. It gave her the push she needed to take a chance on herself. 

She took 30 seconds of courage to go for it and applied for a full-time remote position with Trusted Health, a tech savvy virtual company that places travel nurses all over the country.

Larrissa couldn’t believe she was able to find a full-time remote job in her field of study and expertise while stationed OCONUS in Germany.
