In this first, short podcast, I give the reason for writing this book. The narrator of this story is my mother, in as much as I can let her speak so many years after her passing. "Voice from an Urn" is an attempt to answer the most frequently questions about the true story of incest that I told in my first memoir, "No Tears for my Father". What puzzled readers the most and WHY? Why did my own mother do nothing about the abuse inflicted on me by her husband?

"Voice from an Urn" tries to answer that question and others. It is also a story of the love between a mother and her daughter, despite the ugliness they shared in their lives.
