WHAT WILL TOMORROW BRING?
What will tomorrow bring for Viga's mother, now pregnant with Bogdan's baby? Today, in Podcast #6 of VOICE FROM AN URN, we join her and her husband as they meet with the consulate to decide where they will go when they leave the German labour camps now that World War 2 is over. And wherever they go, what kind of life will she and her baby have with her mentally and physically abusive husband? Below is an excerpt from Chapter 4 of "Voice from an Urn". To hear the full chapter, and a snippet from the song "Black and Blue", dedicated to abuse victims and written and performed live by Viga Boland's daughter, Victoria Boland, listen to the full podcast on this site or subscribe on the links provided below. If you’d prefer to read the book, it is available from the author’s website athttp://www.vigaboland.com  as both a personally signed softcover book or in digital format for all eBook readers. “Voice from an Urn” is the third part of a trilogy that began with the author’s memoir of incest, “No Tears for my Father”. That first book was awarded a gold medal in the 2014 Readers Favorite Awards. This book was followed by “Learning to Love Myself”, the author’s memoir of recovery and self-discovery after abuse. “Voice from an Urn” was written in response to readers’ curiosity about a mother who seemingly did nothing to help her daughter when she was being sexually abused by her father.
