This week on View from the Gutters our topic work is The Question: The Five Books of Blood, written by Greg Rucka with art by Jimmy Palmiotti, Diego Olmos, John Van Fleet, Jesús Saíz, Steve Lieber, Manuel Garcia, Eric Trautmann, and Matt Clark. Originally released under the title 52 Aftermath: Crime Bible: Five Lessons of Blood, this 5-issue mini-series follows the events of the seminal weekly DC series 52.

It features Renee Montoya—who took up the mantle of The Question in 52—continuing her crusade to both understand and ultimately bring to heel the Religion of Crime, who venerate Cain as the first criminal. It also guest stars Renee's frequent companion (and former lover), Batwoman.
