This week on View from the Gutters our topic work is Rachel Rising, Vol. 1 & 2, by Terry Moore. This series begins with its titular protagonist, Rachel, digging her way out of her own shallow grave. Her memory of her death missing, she seeks to discover who killed her and why she is still walking around despite being quite clearly dead.

There is—of course—more to this comic than a simple murder mystery, as strange forces take hold of Rachel's small hometown.
