VZ 033 - Reasons to Eat Less Dairy

Despite the decades-long campaign that milk and other dairy products are essential for a healthy body, current evidence shows exactly the contrary.  The fact that humans are the only species that drink the milk of other animals should be a pretty big clue that it is not meant for us.


In-depth research has proven that the dairy products are actually not the best way to get the calcium necessary for bone health.  Milk’s high sugar content is a danger for diabetics, and casein, an ingredient in cheese, is a carcinogen.


In this episode we address these issues and others and offer some alternatives to dairy products.  As a former milk addict, Larissa speaks from experience on this one, so be sure to tune in!
