VZ 026 - Our Lift Coaching Plan to Eat More Vegetables & Fruits

December 08, 2013

It's official...we've published our very first Lift Coaching Plan, aptly entitled "Eat More Vegetables and Fruits"!  We've discussed the Lift app before on our podcast, and Vickie wrote a comprehensive blog post, "Three Reasons I Love the Lift Habit-Tracking Application for iPhone", back in October explaining exactly what Lift is and how it works.

Recently the folks at Lift introduced a new feature called the coaching plan.  By creating a coaching plan, any Lift user can establish a set of step-by-step instructions to help their fellow Lift-ers learn new habits and reach goals.  After reading Vickie's review, they asked if we would be interested in creating a plan...and of course we were!

in designing our plan, we decided that we wanted to be true to our mission here at Vegetarian Zen, which is not to "convert" our listeners and readers to vegetarianism, but rather to encourage healthy eating habits based around a plant-based diet.  And so our Lift Coaching Plan, "Eat More Vegetables and Fruits", was born!

Our plan consists of 12 steps which are designed to help you increase your intake of plant foods.  In the process of completing the steps, you'll explore your own personal tastes and hopefully develop new ones.  One thing we love about the plan we created is that you can easily repeat it using different fruits and vegetables.
