Vegan Beanz
Beanz at the Movies
In this episode Justin Beanz and Catherine Kelaherb finally do that film review they've been going on about. It's the doco that started it all for Catherine back in 2010 and Justin has an interesting take on it too. Perhaps the most underrated animal rights doco in history; Peaceable Kingdom. Yes the vibe is 90s af but we look at whether it still has a lot of potential to use in today's activism and think it may be the key to convincing some of our pesky carnist family members to make the change.
Since the film uses a lot of sanctuary footage, it gives us a chance to chat about the role of rescue and sanctuaries in activism and the transformation of several people in the film from carnist scum farmer to vegan/potential extra husband for Kelaherb.
