#297 Complexity with Jonas Söder<wbr>&shy;ström (UXP Classic)

September 08, 2022

In this classic UX Podcast, Jonas Söderström joins us to talk about complexity. We like to think that we have made the world better through digitalisation, but perhaps all of the productivity gains were actually in the very early days of computing.

“We have to scale down, we have to dismantle, we have to try to get old systems out of the way, and not just pile up more and more and more in the environment that we that we present to our users”

We hear of the Productivity paradox, the tendency for Feature creep and how we should be pulling down old systems in order to return to simplicity. But how do we actually do it?

(Listening time: 40 minutes, transcript)

Episode #297 is another classic UXP interview, this time about complexity with @blindhona.

Perhaps we should have called it simplicity? We rarely strive for complexity do we…?https://t.co/qHF5HPPCla #ux #uxpodcast #podcast pic.twitter.com/WQn4otEo2B
