#289 Diagramming with Abby Covert
Diagrams are everywhere and used by many people in many professions. But what is a diagram? When are they useful? And what makes a good one? Information architect and author of “How To Make Sense of Any Mess” joins us to talk about diagrams and diagramming – which is the topic of her second book STUCK.
We talk about the purpose of a diagram, labelling, accessibility,
“[A diagram is] is a visual representation that helps someone. And the really important word there is helps, I think in answering your question. So what is not a diagram is a visual representation that doesn’t help anyone. And I think that there’s a lot of those.”
