#272 Onboarding with Krystal Higgins

September 23, 2021

We talk to Krystal Higgins, author of Better Onboarding, about what onboarding actually is, how to recognise it needs improvement, and what kind improvements might work.

We look at the difference between getting people to adopt your product and teaching them how to use it. Onboarding is like the “top layer of a bigger pyramid where you have to get the core motivations down and help people really understand what the value proposition of a product is” says Krystal.

Krystal also gives us some advice on how to improve the onboarding culture of your team and organisation, and for getting buy-in for changes.
