We live in an increasingly complex age in regards to national security and our global relations. Through the talk “US Blindspots in Foreign Policy,” professor Jeannie Johnson discussed how America’s strategic culture has given the United States unprecedented hegemonic status while creating foreign policy blindspots. Examination of these blindspots offers the only hope of breaking debilitating cycles of national habit that continue to eat away at American political and economic power across the globe.
