025: Sexual Polarity with John Wineland

April 28, 2016

I once told my good friend John... "I don't believe in polarity". He was quiet about it for a while and then his face turned red and I thought he might pop a blood vessel. We debated about it and teased each other about it and finally i got a clue on what he was referring to. Then, i learned. Then i used it to relate to women better.

That's the kind of guy that John is. He's masterful, yes, but the thing i respect the most is how PASSIONATE he is around the topic.

John's teacher, David Deida, defines polarity as:

“Sexual attraction is based upon sexual polarity, which is the force of passion that arcs between the masculine and feminine poles thus creating the flow of sexual feeling. It is this force of attraction that is the dynamism that often disappears in the modern relationship. If you want real passion you need a ravisher and a ravishee, otherwise you just have two buddies who rub genitals in bed…..”

Come get a flavor on this week's Tuff Love as John and I debate, talk, share war stories and express our views on how to best to relate to other people using the lens of Polarity.
