Ed Amos was a manipulative and conniving bluebeard. His first wife died in 1979 from an apparent fall. Over the years, two more wives and his mother died under similar circumstances. Amos collected life insurance from many of these deaths. But, he escaped suspicion in most of them. It was the death of his third wife that put the police on his tail.
