Catechesis Trinity Ten – August 20, 2025 (only audio)
On Wednesday nights, Trinity Lutheran Church(Herrin, IL) offers to both children and adults an opportunity for teaching with Learn-by-Heart at 6:30 PM and a catechetical service at 7:00 PM.
This service is designed to prepare God’s people for the theme of the upcoming Sunday Divine Service. The dialog sermon explains “The Time of Jesus’ Visitation” (St. Luke 19:41-48), which is the Holy Gospel for Trinity Ten.
Learn-by-Heart will include the hymn “We Now Implore God the Holy Ghost” (The Augustana Service Book and Hymnal #48), Small Catechism, Tenth Commandment and meaning, and St. Luke 16:9.
