Episode 42 Trends for the Weeks of June 15-July 12 More AR, ISTE, and Brain Research

July 14, 2015

We discuss the trends and issues we observed during the weeks of June 15-July 12, 2015 as we flipped resources into our Flipboard magazine (http://bit.ly/trendsandissues). In this episode of our podcast, we discuss 4 trends. The first trend is a recurring one: AR and VR. Another term has emerged--mixed reality. AR continues to develop with a number of devices available. The second trend is all about ISTE. With the ISTE Conference ending on July 1, a number of articles have come out reflecting on ISTE.  The third trend is brain research. A number of articles describing research were flipped into our Flipboard magazine. The final trend is a continued mixture of recommendations on educational apps and Web site resources that deal with instructional issues. There were a number of helpful resources that included “top 10″ lists.

We have three recommended readings for the week.
