We discuss the trends and issues we observed during the weeks of May 4-21, 2015 as we flipped resources into our Flipboard magazine (http://bit.ly/trendsandissues). In this episode of our podcast, we discuss 4 trends. The first trend  was VR consumer headsets. There were numerous resources discussing various "close to" ready VR headsets that are reported to be available to consumers around December. The second trend is a mixture of recommendations on educational and instructional design resources from how-tos, App lists, and media resource sites. The third and fourth trends are "minor trends." Trend three is cybersecurity--from recent accusations about foreign government hacking of US university computer systems to where personal fitness and health data is stored and who has access to the data. Our final trend is updated Apple products. A number of Apple products hit the market--a new MacBook Pro and desktop models.
