Episode 34 Trends for the Weeks of Feb. 16-March 8 Apple’s Spring Forward, Mobile World Congress, and More on Net Neutrality and VR Headsets

March 09, 2015

We discuss the trends and issues we observed during the weeks of February 16-March 8, 2015 as we flipped resources into our Flipboard magazine (http://bit.ly/trendsandissues). In this episode of our podcast, we discuss 4 trends. The first is Apple's Spring Forward event that took place today (March 9) where they are officially unveiling the iWatch. The second is the Mobile World Congress that took place recently in Barcelona, Spain. Approximately 93,000 were in attendance from 200 countries. One of the top ideas discussed at the event was the Internet of Things and the plethora of devices that connect to it. Our final trend is a reoccurring one: VR headsets. There were a number of VR headsets making the news.

We have three recommended readings for the week.
