Trends & Issues in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, and Learning Sciences

Episode 33 Trends for Weeks of Feb. 2-15 A Potpourri, More on Wearables, an Updated View-Master, & Net Neutrality

February 19, 2015

We discuss the trends and issues we observed during the weeks of February 2-15, 2015 as we flipped resources into our Flipboard magazine (http://bit.ly/trendsandissues). In this episode of our podcast, we discuss four trends: a potpourri of trends (e.g. new or updated hardware and software, instructional strategies), more on wearables (especially Apple's iWatch and Sony's Smart Eyeglass), continued discussion about net neutrality, and the collaboration of Mattel and Google on the new View-Master--another addition to the world of AR and VR.

We have three recommended readings for the week.
