Mindy discussed a recent article in Modern Health entitled “CMS to launch new direct-contracting pay models in 2020” and the continued efforts of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services to pivot reimbursement from fee-for-service into more value-driven models. CMS' Innovation Center is introducing new voluntary innovation models called under CMS Primary Cares, an initiative that provides primary care practices with five new payment options, including three direct contracting models.
