Here’s hoping you had a Happy Fourth of July, and we also hope you keep having fun through the weekend. In that regard, we’ll do our best to help out, with some good ideas for good eats, and we’ll talk about lots of other good stuff that has nothing to do with food or cooking or (worst of all) cleaning up. In fact, let’s talk about the holiday itself, because Here’s hoping you had a Happy Fourth of July, and we also hope you keep having fun through the weekend. In fact, let’s talk about the holiday itself, the Fourth of July is a holiday set aside to remind us – and to teach our children – about the importance of that moment in 1776 when our forefathers were brave enough to face down the most powerful military in the world at the time, and sign a piece of paper that was tantamount to their own death warrants, because it was treasonous to the British crown – Crazy King George.
