During the afternoon of February 19th 2008 a young school girl was meant to return home after a school trip to a local swimming pool.

Her disappearance united the community and ignited a nationwide search to find her.

For three and half weeks, the complex twists and turns were featured daily on the front pages of national newspapers.

Police came up empty handed until their investigation would lead them - and the wrath of the UK press - to an address less than a mile away from the families front door.
