Episode 165 - Pivots, Pain, Passion, and Perspective With Kara Land Cannizzaro, Part 2
Episode sponsored by DiverseChurchJobs.com
We welcomed to the studio, Kara Land Cannizzaro, for a two part conversation on how she's made a hard pivot from a successful career as an attorney to one where her health and family have been the focus.

You can listen to Part 1 of our discussion here.

So many of us are trying to simply figure it out. How to have good health, getting free from any disorders or bad habits, successfully manage our careers, have thriving families and home life, grow spiritually, and have a passion in life...all while having a peace of mind. Kara deals with all of this! (SPOILER ALERT: Alcohol was a major factor in her journey!)
Kara Land Cannizzaro is a former attorney turned health and running coach and business mentor. She married to her high school sweetheart and has two kids, Dominick age 12 and Avery, age 10. She graduated from Florida State University in 2000 and again in 2005 with her Juris Doctor. She went into private practice in 2005, working in planning, zoning and local governmental matters but after 12 years and with two active kids, switched directions to pursue a career in health and wellness.
She is now a full-time wellness coach and business mentor leading a team of over 1,200 men and women who help other moms and dads build healthy habits. Over the past 8 years, she has turned her focus to coaching her clients, and her own self-mastery journey, which includes the active study of leadership, mindfulness, growth mindset, wellness and living a life of purpose. That path and examination of her life led her to more fully embrace her relationship with Jesus Christ. She also decided to live a life free of alcohol and has been sober for over 4 years.
Kara was active in student government and her sorority at FSU and was a collegiate athlete, walking on to the FSU Cross Country team. She’s run 18 full marathons, has time-qualified for the coveted Boston Marathon 3 times and is a certified RRCA Running Coach.
(Accolades in her Coaching business include being a past Elite Coach {top .02% of the coaching community}, a Legacy Club member {having earned over $1,000,000 cumulatively as a Coach} and having helped over 1,000 clients in her 8 years in this role).
