Andrew Michael Hurley's debut novel, The Loney, has made quite a splash winning the 2015 Costa Book Award and the British Book Industry awards for best debut and book of the year.  A horror story set in the north west of England, the novel follows a group making a pilgrimage to an ancient shrine in a place called the Loney and the traumatic events that follow.
