Enough Isn’t A Feeling
So often, we say, “I’ve had enough,” in moments of frustration, sadness, or exhaustion. But the truth is—enough isn’t a feeling. It’s a decision. And when we let fleeting emotions dictate that decision, we risk giving up on something that still has purpose and potential.
Feelings are temporary by nature. They rise, fall, and shift with our circumstances, our stress, or even how much sleep we’ve had. But purpose—that runs deeper. If we aren’t careful, we can let a rough day convince us to walk away from something we were called to build. We make permanent choices in moments of temporary pain, and then later wish we had held on a little longer.
Before you throw in the towel, take a step back. Breathe. Reflect. Are you truly done, or are you just tired? Are you quitting because it no longer serves your growth, or because it’s uncomfortable right now?
You were never meant to be led by emotion alone. Let wisdom have the final say. The dream, the calling, the goal—it’s still alive inside of you. Don’t let a moment of doubt silence a lifetime of destiny. Pause, don’t quit. You may be closer than you think.
