Welcome to the latest edition of Into the Sin Bin! This week’s guest is legendary Fort Wayne Komets announcer Bob Chase.
Chase describes growing up as a child of the Great Depression, his service to our country in World War II, his storied radio career outside the Komets hockey booth, some of the momentous moments in Komets history and the purpose radio serves in today’s culture.
Some of the content for this interview was gained through the book “Live from Radio Rinkside,” by Bob Chase as told to Blake Sebring. Also, thanks to Chuck Bailey with the Komets for his assistance in setting up the interview.
