Commissioner Emeritus of the ECHL, Patrick Kelly
Welcome this edition of Into the Sin Bin! We have two guests on the show this week.
The first is one of the founding fathers of the ECHL, Patrick Kelly. We discuss his career in hockey as a player, including what it was like to play for the late Eddie Shore; his coaching career, how the ECHL came to be, and how his name was placed on the league’s championship trophy.
Steve Levy is known as “Mr. Overtime” in hockey circles
Steve Levy has been an anchor on SportsCenter since joining ESPN in August 1993.  Along the way, he has also handled play-by-play on the NHL (1995 – 2005) on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC Sports, college football on ESPN2 (1999 – 2002) and the NCAA Division I men’s hockey semifinals and finals – “The Frozen Four” – in 1998 and ‘99.
We’ll discuss what he remembers from each of the three longest televised NHL playoff games he has called, what it was like to work along side Stuart Scott during his fight with cancer, plus get his picks for the Stanley Cup playoffs.
