The Nash Attack
Ep 40: Social Media and Grief #LoveIsLove
I am always fascinated by the the ways that people interact with each other on social media. Sometimes during a tragic situation the people physically closest to us aren't going to understand our pain around certain things so we turn to social media. Our Facebooks, Instagrams, Twitter accounts, and Snapchat profiles connect us to people all around the world; some who we relate to on a deeper level than our own flesh blood.
In this episode of The Nash Attack Podcast, I talk about the tragic hate crime that took place at Pulse Nightclub and the social media reaction to it. More specifically, I talk public grief and encourage everyone today to be sensitive to others during this time.
This is my 40th podcast episode and I had all of these fun plans but just could not proceed knowing how hurt and sad people are today. This episode is shorter than most and out of respect only covers this one topic and does not have any advertising.
