April 01, 2021

In this episode of THE MENTORS RADIO, host Tom Loarie interviews guest mentor Dr. Ming Wang, M.D., Ph.D., a man who transitioned from facing deportation to rural China for a life of hard labor in his native Communist China where he grew up, to making in to the United States—by the slimmest of chances. In the U.S., Ming received an M.D. from Harvard, magna cum laude, and a Ph.D. in laser physics from MIT. Now a world-renown, multi-award-winning eye surgeon, Nashville, Tennessee-based Dr. Wang has never forgotten his roots. Though his list of eye patients include Dolly Parton and other famous people, what he has done for those struggling with sight issues in Communist China and elsewhere, are as inspiring as his career journey.
