Sean’s acting career exploded with his breakout performance as a villain, Mike Barnes, in the The Karate Kid III beating out over two thousand hopefuls in an open call to his iconic award winning roles in daytime television playing black sheep AJ Quartermaine on General Hospital to his critically acclaimed portrayal of Deacon Sharpe on The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, television’s most syndicated show in history seen in over one hundred countries.
Most recently, he created and stars in the critically acclaimed digital series Studio City exclusively on Amazon Prime. He won the ISA (Independent Series Awards) for Best Actor in a Drama. The series, which was nominated for 12 ISA’s won an additional 3 awards - Best Writing for a Drama (Michele Kanan and Lauren de Normandie, as well as Patrika Darbo and Carolyn Hennesy who tied for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. Kanan also hosted the Awards ceremony, which was held virtually this year. Studio City was also nominated for eight Daytime Emmy Awards, more than any other digital series on Amazon, including a nomination for Sean for Best Actor in a Digital Drama series.
