Alex started in the knife business doing regrinds for knife enthusiasts. Steingraber Performance Knives was born with the SPK Shark, a leaf-shape bladed EDC fixed blade. Hallmarks of SPK blades are super-thin grinds on super-steel with a well researched and precisely executed heat treat.

With numerous successful runs of the Shark and second model Sasquatch, Alex has featured many state-of-the-art steels. SPK is in the R&D phase of a titanium frame lock folder -- the Lamia -- that will capitalize on Steingraber's thin yet robust design and construction.
