How does a family cope with the loss of a child? Gabby and Ka’eo Gouveia lost their 5-year-old son Grayson to an aggressive brain cancer called Glioblastoma in 2016. Grayson was a Kindergartner at Maryknoll. This is their story of God’s love experienced through family and friends—in turn restoring hope to families experiencing indescribable pain.
Gabby and Ka’eo Gouveia are the founders of Let Grace In, a 501(c)(3) charity supporting families after the death of a child. Let Grace In offers resources including the Hope Retreat that encourages healing, resilience and time to explore practical ways to move through grief. Gabby works for Hawaii Pacific Health’s Straub Medical Center’s Resource team as an intensive care specialist. Ka’eo is the co-founder of Pacific Com Tech, LLC. They live in Moanalua with their daughters Olivia and Charli and are involved in ministry at Bluewater Mission.
