As a youth David Wilson was active in various volunteer ministries including being part of a Christian rock group in the late 1980’s. From 1990 he worked in various management positions within the computer retail industry. In 1995 he moved to Hawaii where he eventually received his calling to pastor and left the computer industry to pursue full-time ministry.

David is presently an ordained minister with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel and has served as the senior pastor and Bible teacher of Hope Chapel Westside since 1998. He is married to his wife and best friend Tammy. They have three children and one grandchild and a wonderful spiritual family in the church. David believes that Hope Chapel Westside is called to be a place to find hope, find healing, and to find a home among God’s children.
