C.S. Lewis wrote about change. “It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. Darin Mauer graduated from Punahou in 1979, went on to Stanford where he played basketball for 3 years and graduated with an engineering degree in 1983. He is also is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He is married to Allison and they have four children–Margaret, Christopher, John and Ashley. Darin and Allison ministered with Campus Crusade for Christ for 24 years. The past 5 years Darin has ministered to businessmen in Houston as the founder and executive director of Logos Leaders Outreach ministry. He disciples and mentors men in the Word of God.
Suzanne Maurer grew up in Salem, Oregon. She has been the program director of The Waterhouse Lecture Series and on the steering committe of the Hawaii Prayer Breakfast, and former Christian Education Teacher at Kamehameha Kapalama’s Elementary School. She is married to Dr. Roland Maurer. They have four children Darin, Rick, Steve and Cathee and eight grandchildren.
