Jeff and Barbara Yamashita have been married for more than 50 years. In 1987 when Jeff retired from the Honolulu Police Department as a Homicide Detective and Barbara was a teacher at Punahou they pioneered Waianae Assembly of God initiated by the late Pastor William E. Ah You of Palisades Community Chapel.  How did God touch their hearts in such a way that they took that step of faith – a faith-move that continues to impact people today?
Jeff and Barbara have 4 children, 11 grandchildren & 2 great-granddaughters.
