But I Digress - A Film And Lit Podcast
Latest Episodes
Black Rock, Lords of Chaos, & Five Feet Apart
A "What I've Been Watching" episode. No spoilers. The first film I want to preview for you is called “Black Rock.” It’s an action revenge horror film and its action is quite extreme. There are three childhood friends who decide to set aside personal is...
The Prodigy (2019)
I review this horror film in this episode with spoilers as a full walk-through. I really liked this film. In my opinion, it's better than "Us" and I give a little diatribe about that point of view (with all respect to Jordan Peele).
Take This Waltz
Michelle Williams occupies this role. She is stunning and gifted. Her beauty is matched by her talent. She's sexy too. This is my review and I've kept out spoilers in hopes that people will be encouraged to see it and enjoy it for themselves.
28 Days Later & President Trump Bashing
This film has had more votes than most any horror on IMDB. I watched it and recorded my thoughts in a walk-through. I added a Trump bashing part to this episode, just because I hate his guts as a President.
What I’ve Been Watching 3/10/2019
I talk about the films I've seen in the past week or so: The Descent Part 2, Isn't it Romantic, Burning Bright, The Predator (2018), Pari, Possum, 10 Years, The Ward, Jessabelle, Joshua, The Hound of the Baskervilles and a couple more.
Insidious: the last key
A fairly good prequel to the franchise. The Elise character gets a background and it's scary fun. Listen to my review and decide if you'd like to see it. If you've seen it, see if you agree with me on it.
The Fly (1986)
Goldblum broke out in this film and everybody was talking about "The Fly!" in 1986. Don't forget the HOT Geena Davis! Join me in my ruminations and reveries about this Cronenberg horror film.
Pod (plus Darling & Jug Face)
Pod is an excellent film directed by the visionary Mickey Keating. His indie films usually include the stunning actress Lauren Ashley Carter, who I enjoy watching on screen very much.
Stranger Than Fiction
I can't really put into words what I love about this film, but I do ... lots. It's a drama with some comedy that actually marks Will Ferrell's first role outside of comedy. This movie is a love story, a comedy, a tragedy,
The Descent
This is a basic course in scares. I tell everyone I know who likes horror to see it. Listen to me explain why I like it and more importantly, why it works as a horror. Then, I walk you through this super cool flick. As usual: spoilers.
