It was necessary.  If you want to understand the mindset of the primary microaggressive bully for Black women as identified by a large percentage of them responding to a survey I issued, you need to know where she comes from and why she thinks the way she does. This is a generational problem that never healed, and now it has morphed into something even more covert.


 


To frame up the discussion, I introduce the idea of my friend Shannon Lanier and his famous ancestors.  He is the 6th great grandson of Thomas Jefferson and his slave Sally Hemings.  This is just one American family, but what he learned could help us all today.
