The Canine Paradigm
Episode 150: The dangers of obsession
The dangers of obsession can expand into every corner in our lives. Obsession can be controllable, however it can also get very far out of control.
The activity of dog training can be one of those fields with strong pulls of obsessive behaviours. The trick is to know when to say when and try and find healthy life balance.
No one said it would be easy. Obsession is a sneaky and seductive mistress and she wants you to be weak. However it should be noted that obsession has ruined a lot of good dogs because it brings friends to the party.
Impatience, anger, corruption are just a few bad traits that can easily tag along for the ride. Enjoy the time with your dog and also with your family and your friends.
