The Canine Paradigm

Episode 99: Dr Roger Abrantes IACP

October 17, 2019

Dr Roger Abrantes IACP is an interview we have both been eagerly waiting for. Dr. Abrantes is an author on the behaviour of animals He has a PhD in evolutionary biology and ethology and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. He is the divisional director at the Ethology Institute Cambridge where he holds regular lectures.

Because of the work or people like Dr Abrantes, we now understand a lot more about the behaviour of animals. One of the key areas that he has stood out for us is his definitions on aggression and predatory behaviour.

He was also kind enough to correct us both on a mistake in our understanding that will be beneficial for the entire training community.

It was a genuine honour and privilege to have a conversation with this wonderful person.
