Episode 86–Working While Disabled

The Working Woman Radio Show sat down with Abigail Paul, who was recently diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, to talk about working while disabled.

Mrs. Paul, a Registered Behavior Technician, talked candidly about what life looks like as a disabled person.

She shared about how her disease has affected her ability to work, and how it limits what she can do to care for her family.

However, Abigail’s story doesn’t end there. She shares how grateful she is for all the love and support that she has received from family and friends. She also talks about how she is learning to accept and manage the disease in order to live a full life.

Finally, Abigail talks about her t-shirt fundraiser which will help her secure monies for an electric wheelchair.

 

 

More About Abigail Paul

Abigail Paul is a 27-year-old wife, mother, Registered Behavior Technician, and friend. She is also a person living with and disabled by severe myasthenia gravis, a rare autoimmune neuromuscular disease. Each day she has to balance each of these roles carefully, in harmony with each other.
