In this episode I discuss about Dental photography and its uses.

Here are some of the settings:

Extra oral :

•f/8 – f/12 = Lower f stop more brighter photos but lower resolution

•Shutter speed = 1/125 – 1/250

•ISO = 100 ( Nikon it starts with 200)

•Magnification = Infinity



Intra oral:

•f/22 –f/32 = More f stop darker the photo so adjust as you need

•Shutter speed = 1/125 – 1/250

•ISO = 100

•Magnification = 1:1 ( anterior single crown) , 1:1.5 ( Anterior quadrant) or    

                                    1: 3 (occlusal)
