Jaguar

Jaguar is a predator and a guardian. As a predator, the Jaguar tracks its prey with stealth and strength. Never seen and rarely heard, the Jaguar is successful in its goal of surviving with grace and power.

Jaguar is adventurous. Now is the time to use the energy of the Jaguar to succeed in looking beyond what you perceive as your boundaries. Investigate and learn, challenge yourself to do something new, something you have not done before. Take an online course, listen to music you have not heard before, in a genre you are not used to.

Jaguar is adventurous, and you need to be so now. Push limits, boundaries, go beyond. The boundaries you live within are old, and they are decaying and taking your spirit with them. They are making you live in the shadows of your past, possibly past successes, but you have reaped all the benefit you can from those achievements. Like the Jaguar hunting, make new successes and a new life for yourself.

The Blade

A Blade is a cutting tool. It represents your mind, body, and spirit. Pointing upward, it summons the power of heaven to help you manifest. What is that you wish for? Be clear in your thoughts. It will cut cords attached to you that no longer serve you or are toxic in their effect on you. It is a thing of action. Use it now; use it with the best intention and not as a weapon. Use it to heal those old relationships or places by letting them go.

The Blade is sent to help you with your dreams which are grounded and stagnant. A blade can help you move forward because it frees you from things that do not mean anything to you. Do not use it in anger or bad intention. If you do, the karmic outcome will be worse than you had imagined. Always use the Blade positively to help you move forward.

The Rainmaker

The Rainmaker is all about manifestation. When it rains, the plants and trees and all that is Mother Gaia have an essential element they need to grow and show the world what living is all about. Rivers fill with water, fish and aquatic animals, birds, have abundant insects to feed on. So many things depend on rain.

Shamans have traditionally connected with all manner of nature angels, angels that govern the Earth, plants, water and what grows and lives in the wild, away from humanity. In their connection with nature, Shamans are able to connect with the rain gods and spirits of the sky to bring rain and to help prevent storms.

As a living spirit, you have many beautiful things in your life. Spring is a time of creation and birth. The Rainmaker is asking you to look at your life and create something new, fascinating and exciting from it.

As seeds push up through the ground at this time of year, you must do the same. Encourage yourself, be confident and find that seed in you waiting to burst through and help you be something you have not been until now. Remember that the world is only mirroring back to you the condition of your love and your intent, so change these within before you take any action.

The Rattle

The rattle is an essential part of the Shaman’s attire. It calls the spirits the Shaman wishes to speak with. It warns evil spirits that a Shaman is coming. It is a beacon, sending out the Shaman’s prayers and messages. It carries them to all four directions of the Shaman’s compass.

Take a moment to listen to the Rattle and its message. Concentrate on your wishes and pray for all the Earth; when you pray for more than your wishes, everything we need is provided for us.

Prayer can be simple… sit for a moment, and dream of the world you would like for your children and the children of all the people you know. End your prayer with “Great Spirit, may you will be done!”

Trust

If the other cards in this week’s reading have spoken about setting out in a new direction, encouraging yourself to be adventurous and motivating, this card is all about trust.

Self-trust. You are trusting in yourself to make the right decisions and being confident. When you are confident in yourself, you can achieve what you are meant to. Self-doubt is the opposite of self-trust. Self-doubt is the greatest of the things you have to release to move forward.

If you have been successful in the past and know what that feels like, is self-doubt now holding you back from moving on and using the tools and your spirit to achieve more?

Now is the time to release self-doubt and embrace self-trust. Trust in yourself now!
