The Outdoors Show

OS 1358: Something Frigid This Way Comes

January 18, 2025

Cold.

That’s the word.

As is often the case, the weather becomes a major source of conversation here on the First Coast, and this episode is no different. With a NASTY bit of weather on the way, the guys talked about all kinds of things associated with doing the outdoor thing in disturbingly less-than-ideal conditions.

But even if the cold was coming, there was a great opportunity to warm your heart during the show, as the guys welcomed in Annie Tuttle, Executive Director of the Community Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation of Caring.

One final note – if you listen, you may think this show stinks. Not because it was bad, but because the conversation meandered to a pretty brutal guano situation Capt. Kirk’s son encountered in the Miami area. No way to describe it here – you’ve got to listen in to believe it (and be watching Facebook for the pics).
