It's only fitting that the first interview should be with Kirbay Preuss of Preuss Pets. Preuss Pets is a pets store located in Old Town, Lansing, Michigan, right next door to my family's company (Friedland Industries, Inc.). Kirbay and I have had many conversations over coffee/tea/wine about our experiences working in family-owned and operated businesses. They have become nationally known in their efforts to help educate people on healthy pet ownership, and their operation is at the highest standard.
