Growing up I used to wish that I was born in the generation before mine. That's when the best music was created, before the aids epidemic and cocaine was non addictive. I grew up in a popped out culture that I didn't fit into but thank god there were saviors for my era. Punk Rock, Hip Hop, Skateboarding and Prince. He was in a category all his own. I played the grooves off the first album then learned how to scratch with two turn tables and a mic. He inspired me to learn multiple instruments. As sad as his passing is, I'm a better person to have lived in this age and to have witnessed one of the greatest talents of all time. I'm forever grateful for all that you left behind.
