I chat with my friend Dr. Mike Sevilla. Mike is a family physician, social media guru, podcaster and long-time blogger. I sit down and share my (surgery) story from start to finish.
Starting with the original knee injury (back on Christmas day 2015) up to my post-op struggles after experiencing my first surgical procedure on January 12th  a right knee meniscal repair via arthroscopy.
I share my feelings. Being on the other side of the bedside was surreal and very enlightening on many levels. I share my unique perspective as a provider turned patient. Not many know that I worked in the Surgical services as well as work for an Orthopaedic surgeon for a short time during my Nursing career. So I offer an insiders view.
Including the self-induced sky-high levels of anxiety I had as well as the no-excuses transparent judgmental approach I had to the care I received as the patient.
