TGI 32: How Continuous Improvement Leads to Success with Zach Spangler (LoverFella)
Today we’re joined by Zach Spangler, but about 830k people know him as LoverFella, his YouTube handle. He has formal education in environmental engineering and worked in pharmaceuticals before starting his YouTube channel. He started his channel 3 years ago and has since gained over 140M views with many of his videos having more than 1M watches, individually. He has perfected the art of storytelling and has become known for his Minecraft videos that watch very much like an episode of HGTV. Zach has used his celebrity to help with causes that he’s passionate about, helping to raise over $10k for environmental charities. He’s a systems thinker and has some fantastic insight. This episode, you’ll learn about the grit required to get initial traction, what things to pay attention to in order to grow your channel, the importance of reading and continuously learning, how to think about your creative process, and when to think about hiring on team members to let you focus on the important things.
