The trailer for “Pacific Rim” has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Michael Bay does not know how to make giant robot movies. This trailer smacks the behind of the explosion addicted director’s movies with a sense of satisifaction. Granted one should never judge a movie based on a trailer alone , but it is satisfying to know that del Toro seems to have done a great job.
